  3. WHAT IS IT?
  4. -----------
  5. If you use DefIcons then maybe you'll have noticed that not all image formats
  6. are recognised by the default brainfile.
  7. I attempted to add a whole load of image formats which I (or friends) needed
  8. to the standard set. Maybe a lot of them you wont need, but this set is now a
  9. bit more 'inclusive', a lot of non-native image/video formats are now
  10. included.
  11. I have also included a list of some of the more common IFF image types. These
  12. can be added to your own set if you need them.
  13. No icons are included in this archive, the contents should be...

  24. WHERE DID IT COME FROM?

  26. Because of the nature of the package it was difficult to add image types in
  27. any sort of precalculated way... when something wasn't recognised I added it!

  29. Recently I also downloaded something called DefIconsUpd (another package like
  30. this). I'm afraid I can't remember who it was by, if it's you then sorry! All
  31. I got was the source code from the archive, the rest was corrupt.

  33. I have recently recieved a rather insulting email from the author of this
  34. other package, claiming I ripped him off. I have one thing to say to that
  35. You show me another way to look for an 8SVX or a RIFF or whatever and I will
  36. use it, everyones code must look similar.

  38. I did modify the names of some of my classes to suit the ones in DefIconsUpd,
  39. not because I ripped them off, just out of respect that he had named them and
  40. uploaded before I did. (Besides which, they make a lot more sense than some I
  41. had ;)

  46. There is a batch file in the archive called 'build' this can be used to build a
  47. new brainfile and if the compilation is successful then the new brainfile will
  48. be copied to ENV: and ENVARC:

  53. Anyway, this is my second release of this brainfile, hope you like it.
